Welcome
Our Cricket Club Website:
The Club is one of the
oldest "country" clubs in Ireland having played the game continuously
and without interruption since the 1880's. The original location was at
the townsland of Halverstown from where the club takes its name, but the
present ground is to be found on the banks of the Liffey in the stunning
landscape of Harristown. The Club caters for all
standards/cricketers. There is a team that plays in the Leinster
Intermediate League,
and a "social" team that faces a rich variety of cricket elevens from
around the country. There is also a schoolboy section.
Touring Sides are very
Welcome. The club is located 45 minutes from Dublin, about 10 minutes
from the M9. It is within easy distance of the city, the airport and
ferries. The location also suits a circuit of South East teams. There
are many good golf clubs around and the Curragh Racecourse is only 15
minutes away.

Here's looking forward to a great
2010 for Halverstown and all our
members participating in both, the Leinster and
Social, formats.
The League Team will be playing in the newly structured format -
no longer 2A with 10 teams per league, now we're in the 9th with
8 teams per league
Our 2010 Club AGM was held at Moone's High Cross Inn
on Tuesday 16 March at 8:30pm - Minutes to follow.
